Sharing and Caring With Christian Handcrafts

Education And More is so pleased to bring 2 new Christian handcrafts to our webstore — Prayer Pockets and Gospel Bracelets.

The Prayer Pockets are a beautiful little handwoven ‘pocket’  that has an embroidered cross on the front and includes a card with a special prayer on it. The prayer was specially composed for this Prayer Pocket and for Education And More by Kim Schlauch, one of our Board of Directors.   This Prayer Pocket is perfect for tucking into a greeting card to a friend or as a gift to a Prayer partner or maybe your women’s group would like to do a fundraising event with them to raise money for your mission work. Contact Education And More for pricing for larger quantities.

Our 2nd item is a Gospel Bracelet that also was handwoven by artisans in Guatemala who receive a fair wage for their work in making them.  These cotton bracelets are tied to the wrist in the fashion of the popular friendship bracelet and one size fits most.  Along with the bracelet is a card which explains the colors of the bracelet with the Scripture verses.  On the back of the card is a picture of one of the artisans and her child with information about Education And More. These bracelets help you share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with your friends!

The Good News bracelets also make a wonderful fundraising item for your youth groups!  You can raise money for your programs and help artisans in Guatemala while selling the bracelets.  Be sure to email us if you are interested in obtaining larger quantities for your fundraising projects.
